The Kitchen Sink and Training Complete - Update #3

It's been another crazy week living and working in Walt Disney World, deciding to add filming a weekly vlog into the crazy mix that is content creation alongside my regular job! I completed training and one shift working in World of Disney before the side I'd learnt in closed to make way for the new, refurbished one. After working three shifts there now, it's still taking some getting used to, but the good news is that now all my fellow cast members are in the same boat - newbies together!

Whilst last year I talked about what I managed to squeeze in aside from work, this program it feels like work is thrown in amongst the park play time, as I've somehow managed to visit one everyday for the last week! A post-work trip to Hollywood Studios came complete with a pretzel dinner and Fantasmic, whilst a solo Magic Kingdom morning before work the following morning allowed me to try my first of many cake pops.

I also enjoyed two days off (back to back!) with one involving dining at the Rose and Crown in Epcot's UK pavilion, and the other was spent at Animal Kingdom before a trip to Beaches and Cream to attempt the infamous Kitchen Sink challenge!

For those who don't know, this is a literal sink filled with various scoops of ice cream and every topping they have, including pieces of brownie, pound cake, oreos, and an entire can of whipped cream! It clocks in at $32 (and probably 32,000 calories) and is supposed to be shared between four, meaning when the price is split, it actually isn't too bad (especially when a regular Mickey bar costs $5!)

I showed up to the reservation with 3 friends at around 4pm, ready to attempt this feat. They blare a siren as they bring the monstrosity out, which we watched them make behind the counter, and we then began tackling what would seen become a puddly mess.

25 minutes later, we were defeated, spooning out the remains into four of the small side dishes. So close yet so far, but it looked far from appetizing by that stage and we were more than ready to tap out!

The following day I had a brief Universal Studios trip before work, mainly exploring Hosgmeade and Seuss land, whilst the following day I got to go to Epcot with a couple friends for some World Showcase wanderings and a pretty magical moment - a fan of my vlogs was working in Club Cool and gave us free slushies!

The week rounded off with another Magic Kingdom trip with my roommate Kierra, where we ate lunch at Be Our Guest and watched Festival of Fantasy. We then got soaked in a storm when walking back to the bus, meaning showers were needed back home before work!

Another whirlwind week with everyone who follows me on social media questioning if I even have a job here, prompting some 1:30am 'proof' posts as I headed home for the night in my costume after a closing shift.
